Forgive me for not having this one up when youall joined, I'm still working out the kinks.

You can only pair your claimed individual character with someone in one fic. For example, if you have Inuyasha, you can only pair him with Sango for one of the themes. The other themes must have him with either no pairing, or paired with a different person.

Well, it's just great for me personally, since I like to pair Naraku up with everything that moves. %) Thank you!

...and also some things that don't (Naraku x Shikon Shards, anyone?). >_>

Hmm, say I do a Takemaru-lusting-after-Izayoi fic. As it is not an all-out pairing, would I be able to do it more than once, or do unrequited feelings count? (If so, no worries. He can lust after Rin/Kagome/Inuyasha/InuPapa too.)

Ohh.. If you do I Takemaru-lusting-after-Inupapa I'll marry you again..or something. I think he needs to make the rounds, y'know lusting after various members of the cast. Like maybe, just maybe Jaken is his reincarnation

Heh! I say, Takemaru showed his affection for Izayoi by stabbing her in the stomach. So he must have really had a thing for... just about everyone that was involved in the third movie.

Scarily enough, he sort of did show his affection for Izayoi by stabbing her. Trying to save her soul and all that. Takemaru was also yet another person with a sword fetish. It's like an epidemic.

Okay, what about implied pairings? If you imply a pairing in a piece, are you allowed to go and actually feature that pairing in a later one?

Playing devil's advocate here. Let's say you have a character and you managed to put out individual pieces but like two of the themes would fit perfectly for this character shipped with the same person. Like a two parter?

Example let's say I had Sango, which I don't. And I wrote happily along then suddenly I'm struck with a plot bunny for a two part piece involving the themes "memories" and "death" coupling Sango up with Kohaku.

You see I may not necessarily want to write 30 pieces on Sango/Kohaku but this two parter is too appealing to pass up.

Is that acceptable? I'm not saying I have a two part story in mind but I like to know where I stand on these issues and I like to keep my options available. ^^

Kind of like this, but different enough that I'm going to ask:

Suppose I write Kanna/Kohaku for say, 'death', and then I want to write a sequel featuring Kanna/Souta for 'fate' or 'memories' in which Souta is used as Kohaku's reincarnation. Or maybe not actual reincarnation (I'm not completely sure where I'm going with this fic yet), but something about him reminds her of Kohaku, and thus Kanna/Kohaku is referenced/implied - would either of those or the second be okay? Or are sequels in general not okay for character choices, and I should just write it as one fic? *curious*

*gaspu!* Well, shit hat just messes me all up. :-P

So wait, as we all know, Blockhead Inuyasha is defined alot by his semi-canon relationship with Kagome. Can I only use her once, then, if it is canon?

Silly wifey, everyone knows Inuyasha is defined by his sword. The boy is nothing without the thing. Seriously.

But to answer your question. You can only use Kagome once.
