5. Summary: When Kagura became caught in a vortex of strange power, only to awaken next to the object of her desire, what else could she do to pass the time until they were found? More than one thing crossed her mind but, what the ever strange Kagome had in mind was more than she could really understand. And the wonderous invention called chocolate makes itself known

Kagura glared into the clearing around her. The gods hated her, mocked her at every turn with insulting situations that her eternally damned luck put her in. Eyes the color of a fading fire colored sunset stared at the nearly transparent barrier that surrounded herself and the very nervous and quiet girl sitting less than seven feet away from her. She tapped her fan against her thigh, a nervous habit of sorts that came on when she was becoming impatient.

And was she ever more so than she was right at this moment? She didn't think so.

It was bad enough that she was going to have to rely on the girl's allies to "save" her from the damnable barrier. But to be stuck inside a barrier no one else except anyone with youkai blood could see with the object of her obsession was just pushing the lines of sanity.

In a nut shell; Kagura was about ready to lose her freaking mind and jump the girl.

Something crackled, causing the older woman to turn around and frown at the younger one, what was it that she was doing? A blue odd looking object, looked like strange paper, was in the one hand while a small brown object was in the other.

"What are you doing?"

Curiosity killed the cat, Kagura thought to herself as she stopped tapping her fan against her leg and felt her nose wrinkle slightly at the sweet scent drifting off the object. The storm cloud blue eyes raised up, startled and a little guilty before she broke the object in half and offered one to her.

"Here, it's a kind of food."

Kagura deliberated for a moment, trying to decide whether or not the girl was to be trusted before giving herself a mental kick in the head for even thinking of the girl as a threat.

After all, the girl's bow was broken, she couldn't move faster than she could and, well, that brown sweet thing looked intriguing.

She sauntered over and let the girl drop it into her palm and examined it. It was filled in the center with some strange white flakes that gave off a sweeter scent than the brown covering. Kagura watched as Kagome dropped the candy into her mouth and chewed, the girl's face suddenly losing much of the panic as she swallowed the food and smiled happily.

'Hmm...'

Kagura stared at it and popped it into her mouth. Her eyes widened as she looked at Kagome, her voice curious as she spoke.

"What was that?"

Kagome only smiled and winked, pulling a small bag filled with the treats before speaking.

"Kagura, it's about time someone introduced you to a girl's best friend. It's called chocolate."
