Sesshoumaru walked around the garden of his palace. He took the time to look at every single plant he had, most of which Rin had chosen. Since no one was around, he let a small smile creep upon his lips as he thought about her. Quickly, his smile faded as the sound of the finest cloth touched his ears.

"Sesshoumaru-sama?" asked a meek voice behind him.

He turned around and looked at the girl, not a hint of emotion on his face. Rin, on the other hand, looked scared and he could smell the nervousness roll off of her.

"Yes Rin," he said as he looked into her dark eyes.

"I...I...I just wanted to say," she answered and took a couple of steps forward. "I just wanted to say..."

Sesshoumaru watched as she walked up to him and kissed him on his cheek. When she backed up he looked at her smiling face in confusion.

"Thank you," she said, her eyes starting to glow and the nervousness wearing off.

This time Sesshoumaru decided to let a small smile appear. After all, a kiss from his wife deserves something in return.


I apologize for the crapiness (is that even a word?). I'm usually better than this. I've been stuck trying to figure out what to write and I didn't want to get kicked off for not writing anything. I might come back and change it some later. (So, go ahead and rip this thing apart!) Thanks! ^^
